Randon S.A, of Caxias do Sul (RS), has been for the sixth time included in the nationwide ranking by Exame / Você S/A Magazine of The 150 Best Companies to Work for in Brazil. Randon was selected as a prominent company in the category Cidadania Empresarial (Entrepreneurial Citizenship) for its internal policy related to social responsibility that provides benefits in areas such as social security, education, health, meals, transportation, profit sharing, citizenship and environment. The award was handed out yesterday, September 8, at 7:30 PM, in the theater Alfa, in São Paulo, to the Purchasing, Administrative and Finance Director of Randon S/A., Jaime Vergani.

Among the social programs related to benefits and personal / professional development are: Handling Life Well (a program that stimulates quality of life in all aspects of life through healthy habits and attitudes); Growing Program (promotes the continual development of employees, leaders and teams); Florescer Program (prepares children and teenagers for the exercise of citizenship, better quality of life and for a more promising future); Qualifying Program (prepares students for the labor market through technical and humanistic development, thus promoting their social inclusion); New Paths Program (for people above 57 years old, who are prepared in social, health, psychological, financial, legal and technical aspects to continue to work and invest in their capabilities after their retirement from the company). According to the director Jaime Vergani, being included in the Exame Guide means the pursuit of excellence in Human Resources management and the creation of opportunities for improvement and learning.

The inclusion in the ranking The 150 Best Companies to Work For in Brazil takes places due to the company’s results from assessment made by employees and indicators related to human resources practices – quality index in people development (remuneration and benefits, professional career, education, health, integrity of workers, social and environmental responsibility); - quality index in the workplace (identity, satisfaction and motivation, development and leadership); and notes by the visiting journalist, who personally assesses the processes. The sum of all these indexes results in the happiness index of employees in their workplace.
